Due to the patented cell design, the energy density of the high energy type SLPB’s is extremely high, while the high power type SLPB’s delivers exceptionally high power performance. The superior characteristics of Kokam’s SLPB are due to Kokam’s unique manufacturing technology. Marked by the patented Z-folding manufacturing technique using the most advanced form of Lithium Polymer and thin film laminations, Kokam’s manufacturing technology not only results in a simple and time-efficient manufacturing process, but also enhances the overall performance and quality of the SLPB.

tab_iconKokam Battery Module (KBM) are 2 kWh – 12kWh systems composed of Lithium-ion Polymer Batteries connected in series or parallel. With its flexible and modular design, Kokam’s Battery Module (KBM) can be customized to meet various customers’ needs. It designed to accommodate cells with different capacities and can easily be tailored to meet diverse energy, voltage, and power requirements. In addition, Kokam Battery Modules’ safety features, implemented by various thermal management mechanisms and Battery Management Systems (BMS) provide our customers the highest level of confidence during operation.

RACK

tab_iconIntegrate multi-use PCS to improve power quality Kokam’s Indoor and Outdoor Type Racks (KRI/KRO) are composed of Kokam’s standard battery modules and range in size from 60-130kWh capacity systems upon a customer’s request. The KRI/KRO racks can be installed in various locations such as offices, hospitals, utilities, telecom towers, data centers and military bases.

CONTAINER

tab_iconKokam Containerized Energy Storage System (KCE) The KCE is utilized for various applications such as peak shaving, frequency regulation, integration with renewable energy, micro-grids, and UPS. It can store 250kWh – 4MWh of energy in transferable 20ft/ 40ft/ 53ft ISO container. Due to the high energy density of Kokam’s SLPB, the KCE can store more energy in a given footprint than any other battery storage system: The KCE can be connected in parallel to increase the total energy available to 10MWh.
